GTA 6 Activities: Every Confirmed Thing to Do in Leonida

GTA 6 has more things to do than any game in the series. The Extended Look confirmed over 20 side activities — and unlike GTA V, where most were one-note diversions, many of these directly affect your characters' bodies, stats, and relationships.

This is the complete list of every confirmed activity, organized by category, with details on how each one works.

Sports and fitness

Gym and muscle system

The gym returns from GTA: San Andreas — and this time it is more than a stat grinder. You pay for a membership at the front desk, then choose from multiple exercise types:

• Weight lifting builds visible muscle, improves melee strength and durability
• Stamina workouts (running, boxing) increase lung capacity and sprint duration
• The body changes visually based on your workout habits

This means Jason and Lucia's physical appearance is not fixed. A player who spends time in the gym will have visibly different characters than one who does not.

Basketball

Confirmed in the Extended Look. Playable on outdoor courts in Vice City. Details on whether it supports full games or just shooting around are not yet confirmed.

Mini golf

A new addition to the franchise. Leonida's resort culture makes mini golf a natural fit. Likely playable at tourist-oriented locations.

Cage fighting and wrestling

Two separate combat activities:

• Cage fighting (MMA-style) — organized fights with rules
• Backyard wrestling — less formal, likely tied to specific neighborhoods

Both likely improve your combat stats and provide income.

Shooting range

Returns from GTA V. Practice your aim and potentially unlock weapon upgrades or improve accuracy stats.

Water activities

Leonida's coastline, Keys, and Everglades make water activities a major focus.

Scuba diving

The Extended Look showed a character in a wetsuit swimming with manta rays. The Keys island chain and Vice City's coastal waters provide extensive underwater areas to explore — likely with hidden collectibles and discoveries.

Kayaking

A new addition. Leonida's waterways — from mangrove channels to open ocean — provide diverse kayaking routes. This could be both a transport method and a dedicated activity.

Fishing

Confirmed, and likely building on Red Dead Redemption 2's fishing system. Leonida offers multiple fishing environments:

• Deep-sea fishing off the Keys
• Freshwater fishing in the Everglades
• Pier and shore fishing along Vice City's coast

Airboating

Navigate crocodile-infested Everglades waterways by airboat. This is both a transport method and an activity — and ties into the hunting system.

Exploration and adventure

BASE jumping and parachuting

Lucia was shown skydiving in the Extended Look. Parachuting returns from GTA V, and building-top base jumping is expected to be available throughout Vice City's skyline.

Hunting

Confirmed, building on RDR2's hunting mechanics. The Everglades provide a natural hunting ground with diverse wildlife including alligators. Likely includes a hunting economy for selling pelts and trophies.

Nightlife and social

Nightclubs

Multiple nightclubs across Leonida, with several in Vice City and at least one per region. The NINE1NINE has been specifically identified. Inside you can:

• Dance on the dance floor
• Drink at the bar
• Throw money around
• Interact with the nightlife crowd

Strip clubs

Return from GTA V with similar functionality. Multiple locations across Vice City.

Bars and restaurants

Casual hangout spots where you can drink and eat. These likely serve as romance system locations — taking your partner out builds the relationship.

Technology and modern life

In-game social media

One of GTA 6's most innovative features. A parody of TikTok and Instagram where:

• NPC content updates in real time based on your actions — cause chaos and locals post about it
• You can participate in challenges posted by the in-game community
• Record moments from your gameplay
• NPCs react to your online presence — your social media reputation affects the world

This is not a passive feed. It is a live system that creates a feedback loop between your actions and the world's perception of you. Rob a bank and scroll your feed 10 minutes later — the posts have changed.

E-scooters

Electric scooters can be rented throughout the city. They need charging (tying into the fuel system infrastructure), serve as an alternative to cars, and may support racing against other characters.

Activities and the relationship system

Many activities serve double duty as romance system inputs. Spending time together at a bar, going fishing, hitting the gym, or visiting a nightclub together all count as "time spent together" — one of the key metrics the trust system tracks.

This means side activities are not separate from the main game. They are woven into the relationship between Jason and Lucia, the karma system, and the social media reputation layer. Everything you do in Leonida matters.

What we do not know

• How many total activities exist? The 20+ count comes from the Extended Look and previews. The full game likely has more
• Are there gambling activities? Casinos and poker have not been confirmed despite Leonida's Florida-inspired setting
• Can you own businesses? Previous leaks suggested property ownership but nothing is confirmed
• Are there water sports like surfing or jet skiing? Jet skis appeared in trailers but a dedicated activity is unconfirmed
• How deep is each activity? Are they full mini-games or quick interactions?
